Overview
ClearBridge Advisors is an equity-focused investment management firm, which was created as a result of Legg Mason Inc.’s December 2005 acquisition of Citigroup Asset Management, a unit of Citigroup. Through its affiliated investment advisors, ClearBridge offers investors access to a diverse array of investment styles and disciplines, designed to address a range of investment objectives. The cornerstone of our success is a bottom-up security selection process and fundamental research focused on companies with solid economic returns relative to their risk-adjusted valuations. Our investment teams include some of the most experienced managers in the industry. Many of these managers have invested successfully throughout decades of up and down market cycles, supported by our team-driven culture, modern investing technologies, time-tested philosophies and proven processes. All these resources help us pursue consistently superior investment performance for our clients.
Through its affiliated investment advisors, ClearBridge offers clients a variety of investments, including mutual funds, variable annuity portfolios, 529 plans and separately managed accounts. In 1995, one of ClearBridge’s predecessor firms pioneered the Multiple Discipline Account*, which provides investors with exposure to multiple asset classes and investment disciplines in a single product. ClearBridge remains the leader in separately managed accounts, offering exposure to an assortment of asset classes and investment disciplines.
